Cold day at Glen Willow Saturday just gone, hosting Oberon Tigers. The club came away with a very successful 4 grade win - showing massive efforts and points scored across the board.
We also hosted the Mudgee Junior Rugby League on Saturday and all-in-all it was a very long but successful day! Thanks to everyone that came to watch and support on the day and an even bigger thank you to those that came to lend a hand.
Here’s some words from the coaches..
🐉🔥 Ladies League Tag had a 20-10 win!
FROM THE COACH: Great win for the girls this week. We started the game well working all channels and putting the first points on, but lost our focus leading into half time, making mistakes and handing over possession. We set our goals in the sheds and our second half was executed well - completion rate was the best it’s been all season. The girls controlled the game and earnt the win. Big effort by Kerry Reynolds scoring three tries for the game. WOMAN OF THE MATCH: Kate Verey
🐉🔥 Under 18’s had a 48-6 win!
FROM THE COACH: 48 to 6 win against a side that beat us in the first round. Good effort and shows we are improving as the season progresses. Some strong performances all round with Wes Mullete, Mitch McWhirter and Patty Durrant polling points in players players. MAN OF THE MATCH: Wes Mullete
🐉🔥 Reggie’s had a 72-4 win!
FROM THE COACH: Big win for the boys. Very pleasing to get the win over Oberon the way we did after we went down to them the first time. Our first half was very ordinary but we still found ourselves in front at half time. Down to 9 men in the second half and still blew them away. Austin Burgess was awesome in attack and defence. MAN OF THE MATCH: Austin Burgess
🐉🔥 Prem’s had a 50-4 win!
FROM THE COACH: Really strong win for the boys this week one of our most impressive performances so far. Back to our best in defence, only leaking one try when we were down to 11 players. With the ball we completed well and our points came off the back of that. MAN OF THE MATCH: Aidan Woods
